Vintage Oscar Heyman Sapphire & Diamond Ring

A sapphire and diamond ring. This half eternity ring features five round brilliant cut diamonds and four baguette cut sapphires. The stones are channel set in a plain, polished, yellow gold band marked ‘K18 496’. The sapphires are of a beautifully saturated blue colour and the alternating diamonds between them give the ring that beautiful sparkle.

This half eternity ring is a vintage Oscar Heyman creation. Oscar Heyman is an American jewellery house, founded in 1912. It has become known as the ‘Jeweller’s Jeweller’, producing pieces for Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, among others. Oscar and Nathan Heyman, the founders of the company, did their apprenticeship at their great-uncle’s Faberge workshop, and the firm’s reputation has always heavily relied on their superb craftsmanship. This ring could be worn as an everyday ring on its own or as a stacking ring, and would also make a lovely wedding band.
