A remarkable black opal pendant-brooch. Featuring a free-form black opal, with excellent play of colour, surrounded by a brushed yellow gold casing. The gold is set with a single round cut emerald, and a yellow & white diamond cluster, on opposite corners. The piece is finished with a silver snake chain, and yellow gold brooch fittings. The back is engraved ‘we have this treasure in earthern vessels’.
