From one side of the brooch, two festoons of snake link gold chain hang gracefully, leading to a double drop. Each drop is adorned with a carved coral element, further inlaid with yellow gold and set with four bezel-set garnets. The garnets display a strong, vivid purple hue, adding depth and contrast to the warm tones of the coral and gold.
