An arts and crafts, antique moonstone and enamel brooch. Set with an oval-cabochon cut moonstone, milgraine bezel set in yellow gold. Three enamel trefoil leaves sit on either side with polished gold vines, and the whole brooch is surrounded by a hammered finish border.
William Hair Haseler was a jewellery manufacturer based in Birmingham. They were the company that produced jewellery for Liberty and Co at the beginning of the 19th Century, and worked with Liberty until the 1930s. The design in this brooch is attributed to Jessie M King, a renown arts and crafts artist, known for her illustrations, needlework, and jewellery designs.
