Edwardian Enamel Holly Brooch

An early 20th century green enamel holly brooch. Featuring a holly with three green enamel leaves and three round white seed pearl ‘berries’ in a trefoil of the centre of the leaves. The leaves are finished with a polished yellow gold stem.

A very life-like holly brooch, thanks to the highly detailed green enamel leaves. The carefully crafted shape of the leaves, and the tapered gold stem also contribute to the real-life likeness of the brooch, while the pearls, with their beautiful, soft lustre, give it a festive and elegant feel.
