An antique garnet and pearl cross pendant. Featuring five round cut garnets, at each end of the cross and in the centre. Between each round stone is a marquise cut garnet, two on the bottom row, set between open gold work making up the frame of the cross. Two seed pearls radiate from the centre of the cross.
All stones are in a foil back setting, where the back of the stone is covered by the metal. This is indicative of jewellery from the Georgian and Regency era, but does not allow for an estimated stone weight.
Era: Georgian.
Metal: Tests 9ct Yellow Gold.
