An Art Nouveau lorgnette crafted in yellow gold. The lorgnettes feature cherubs supporting the glasses, with decorative gold work handles. Stylised dolphins act as the shaped nose bridge. The glasses fold over one another in a closed position, activated by a lever mechanism.
The lorgnettes are engraved ‘1904’ on one side and ‘W’ on the other, letting us glimpse into the history of these decorative glasses. The lenses can be replaced for prescription lenses.
