Tanzanite & Diamond Necklace, 14.40cts

A vintage tanzanite necklace. Featuring a line necklace made up of oval cut tanzanites, each separated by a round brilliant cut diamond. The necklace features fifty-two tanzanite and diamond links. In the centre of the necklace a tanzanite and diamond cluster hangs with articulation. It features an oval cut tanzanite surrounded by a double row of diamonds, set in an alternating star shape.

A one of a kind, vintage necklace showcasing the beautiful purple hue of tanzanite. Sometimes described as ‘the colour sapphire wants to be’, tanzanites are a rare stone that can only be found in one mine in the world. The stone is named after the origin of this mine, in Tanzania.
