Vintage Gold Seahorse Ring

A yellow gold seahorse ring. The ring is fashioned as a seahorse wrapped around the finger, with the head and tail crossing over the top. The seahorse is set with twenty-four round-cabochon cut emeralds along its back. The seahorse is fashioned from textured yellow gold, with an internal spring to stabilise the ring on the finger.

This unusual ring is beautifully crafted from unpolished yellow gold. The texture of the ring lends an impressionistic feel to the piece, allowing us to appreciate it as a work of sculpture rather than jewellery.
