Unheated Ruby and Diamond Ring, 6.05cts

A ruby and diamond cluster ring. Featuring an oval cut ruby, four claw set in yellow gold. The ruby is surrounded by sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds, arranged in a classic claw set cluster. The cluster leads to tapered shoulders and a polished yellow gold band.

This beautiful ring centres around a 6.05ct, unheated ruby. Rubies and sapphires over 5cts in weight are extremely rare, and this ruby is unheated, making it even more so. Approximately 98% of all sapphire and rubies are heated to improve their colour, and it s wonderful to have such a fine ruby without any such treatment. A one of a kind, vintage ring.
