This necklace is from the Jugendstil movement of Austria and Germany, which ran parallel to the Arts and Crafts movement in the UK. The pendant is attributed to Christian Seybold, a German designer known for his craftsmanship and hand finished details.

A modern emerald bead necklace. Measuring 100 inches in length, the necklace is strung with over seven hundred beads. Most of the beads are polished emeralds, randomly interspersed with yellow gold beads. Some of the gold beads are set with emeralds, some with emeralds and diamonds, and others are decorated gold.
This one of a kind necklace is just divine, with richly coloured emeralds rarely found in 1ct sizes, let alone 400cts of beautifully matched beads. The necklace is finished with a clasp, allowing the wearer flexibility to wear the beads long, or wrapped around many times.
